Club Receives Swim 21 Accreditation The
Club's application for Swim 21 accreditation has recently been accepted. This
is the culmination of a lot of hard work by Helen Baker over the last 2 years
and recognises the quality of the services provided by our coaches and everybody
involved in running the club. Swim 21 is the ASA's Club Development model
and provides a 'quality mark' that is recognised nationally as indicating that
clubs are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the
benefit of their members. Following Swim 21 principles ensures that clubs help
athletes, coaches and administrators to achieve their full potential. It focuses
particularly on the needs of athletes - striving to provide them with the best
possible support and environment. Our Swim 21 accreditation means that
Birmingham Synchro is also Clubmark accredited. Clubmark is the universally recognised
Sport England mark of high quality junior sports clubs. Attaining these
accreditations is important to sports clubs, not just because the process of doing
ensures the club is providing a high quality service, but it also provides access
to various resources and opportunities for funding. This is major success
for the Club and we are very grateful to Helen for all the hard work that she
has done to help Birmingham Synchro achieve this important quality mark. |
